Renewal

Holy GOD, full of grace
Lift us from this bitter place
Lonesome bones here weary dwell
In this pitch-black pit they fell

Bones which once had lungs to praise
And magnify Thy Holy Name
Bones which once had eyes to see
The endless love which flows from Thee

They know no words for their dismay
Nor where the sun did hide away
But LORD, these bones are in Thy hand
And life itself at Thy command

I know that when Thy will decrees
Life will fill such bones as these
And weary hearts again shall see
That Thou art LORD of all
